Reduce risk of bone fracture with Preotact®

Patients with osteoporosis have an increased risk of bone fracture, due to reduced bone mineral density, disrupted bone microarchitecture and alterations of non-collagenous proteins in bones. Often there are no signs of osteoporosis before the first bone fracture has occurred. Vertebral bone fracture is very common. Approximately one in three women will experience vertebral bone fracture during their lifetime.

Preotact® is a full-length parathyroid hormone (PTH) therapy for postmenopausal osteoporosis patients to reduce the risk of bone fracture. Studies have demonstrated that Preotact® can reduce the incidence of vertebral bone fracture, by increasing bone formation and bone mass.
