Preotact® - treatment for osteoporosis patients
An osteoporosis patient experiences low bone mass, structural deterioration of bone and increased risk of fracture. Osteoporosis is most common in women after menopause this is also known as postmenopausal osteoporosis. Due to the risk of bone fracture osteoporosis can affect life expectancy and quality of life of the osteoporosis patient.
Preotact® is a full-length parathyroid hormone (PTH) therapy that can reduce the risk of bone fracture for an osteoporosis patient suffering from postmenopausal osteoporosis. The parathyroid hormone can stimulate bone formation and increase trabecular bone density, which can improve bone microarchitecture and restore bone quality and quantity of the osteoporosis patient.
